The Village of Rocco water project we supported is in progress. Thank you again for supporting the fundraising effort for the Rocco Water Project!
They now have 2.5 miles of PVC pipe and started digging the trench to bring the water from the 30,000-gallon water storage reservoir at the spring to the village.
The village also started the greenhouse construction with the extra funds we generated. That project is possible because there will soon be water in the village to support the greenhouse!
Everyone is eager to have water in the village without having to walk/carry it 4 miles to and from the spring. It is exciting to see the project’s progress and how excited the villagers are. Thank you again for helping the people of the High Andes of Peru and the Rocco Village.
