Refurbishment and readiness goes way beyond cleaning, repairs, and parts replacement. It is a multi-step process:
Step 1
Functional testing
We start the process by testing the analyzer, assessing performance of every function, identifying parts to replace, repairs to make, and opportunities to improve that performance.
Step 2
Repair
We repair components and functions that do not meet our quality standards during testing and to get them in working order.
Step 3
Replace parts
We replace parts that we do not repair as needed and replenish the analyzer with new consumables.
Step 4
Cosmetic restoration
By cleaning, polishing, and painting, we restore the equipment to looking like new.
Step 5
Quality control
Once we have completed the refurbishment process, we run quality control tests to confirm the analyzer is performing its functions failure-free. After passing its QC tests, we document the results and package with the equipment.
Step 6
Crating and shipping
There are multiple methods to crating equipment depending on customer and destination. We offer industry specialized white-glove services, or we package your equipment in a secure wooden crate filled with custom-made structural foam. In certain cases, we utilize suspension packaging to offer an additional layer of safeguards.
Step 7
Installation
Our industry expert technicians travel to your destination to install, calibrate, and validate the equipment.
Step 8
Training
While onsite, our techs train your lab technicians on the features and functions of your refurbished equipment so that your team is ready to go.
