The CEDIA® Buprenorphine calibrators are used to calibrate the CEDIA Buprenorphine Assay in human urine.

The CEDIA Buprenorphine controls are used to qualify the CEDIA Buprenorphine Assay in human urine.

Each calibrator and control set is sold separately and may be used with any reagent lot. The ready-to-use calibrators or controls contain processed human urine, buffer salts, and 0.09% sodium azide.

Storage and Stability

Store calibrators or controls at 2-8°C. Do not freeze. For stability of the unopened calibrators or controls, refer to the box or bottle labels for the expiration date. For stability of the opened calibrators or controls, 60 days or until the printed expiration date, whichever comes first.

Instructions for Use

The calibrators or controls are liquid ready-to-use. Mix the contents of the vial before each use by gently inverting the vial 2-3 times.

Record on the vial label the date on which the calibrator or controls was opened.

Remove the cap and dispense the required quantity of the calibrators or controls into a sample cup as specified in the appropriate CEDIA assay application sheet.

Avoid cross-contamination of calibrator or control levels by matching colored caps to the appropriately colored dropper tips.
